Double Trommel
Trommels which consist of multiple screens in a single trommel unit to segregate are known as Double Stage Trommels. They are of 2 types depend on their screen type:
- Single Drum Dual Screen
- Double Drum Dual Screen
Applications: Most useful in C&D Waste, Biomining, MSW segregation etc & well suited where space is limited for processing & required more than 2 fractions in single processing.
Mobile Trommel

Vibratory Screens
A vibrating screen separates materials by size and can be used to improve and solve many product handling challenges. Typical applications include:
- Removing oversize material from usable product
- Separating solid product from liquid – also known as a dewatering screen
- Dividing material into individual size fractions through grading and sizing
- Removing fines prior to packing
- Course grading and sieving
Ballistic Separator
The ballistic separator is suitable to sort the continuous stream of waste in different fractions depending on shape and weight. A series of parallel paddles applies a strong shaking to the whole waste for an effective separation, conveying the various kind of materials towards different directions. The ballistic separator classifies the flow of material into three fractions: heavy and rolling fraction (called 3D), flat and light fraction (called 2D) and the sieved fraction (or underscreen fine fraction).

Solid Waste Management Machineries
Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) – from collecting, transporting to processing, disposing of inert and development of scientific landfill. PESPL’ s ISWM system aims to reduce the amount of waste being disposed, while maximizing resource recovery and efficiency. Efficient Waste Segregation involves manual sorting of large sized and visible recyclables and inert, and mechanical segregation of waste with good heating value into fuel pellets, short-term biodegradable stuff into compost, retrieving recyclable content from inert (sand, brickbats, pebbles, sand to make paver blocks, recyclable plastic, glass & metals. Once all useful and recyclable stuff has been segregated and appropriately treated by deploying multiple technologies, the quantity of inert that would actually be laid at rest in the Landfill wold be minimal if not zero and we have already exhibited this feat at our projects.
Static Trommel
Trommels come in many designs such as concentric screens, series or parallel arrangement and each component has a few configurations. The main factors affecting the screening efficiency and production rate are the rotational velocity of the drum, mass flow rate of feed particles, size of the drum, and inclination of trommel screen
